What is a virtual event?
A virtual event is one which can be completed anytime, anywhere!
Traditional events in a fixed location, at a set time are expensive to organise and restricted to only those who can make it to that location at that time. A virtual event is open to any of your supporters, wherever they happen to be. They can complete the event in their own time and break it down into more manageable chunks if they prefer.
The virtual event can be anything you choose – a run or walk, a bike ride or swim, or any combination. Why not create a virtual triathlon or set your supporters a larger target over an entire month? You could create a 5km walk or a step challenge over a week. The possibilities are endless!
The rise of the virtual event.
We believe every charity should have a virtual event in its fundraising portfolio. Virtual events are unique in their ability to reach all your supporters, no matter where they live, and challenge them to get them active and moving.
Virtual events are also able to raise significant funds for your charity. In the past few years we have consistently seen virtual events feature in the annual top 25 most successful charity events list, often raising over £1 million in proceeds.

How does it work?
White Label Virtual Events create an individual entry system for your event to manage your supporters who sign up. They then complete the event and upload an image of their activity to their entry page through their account. We monitor the entries and send out rewards to those who have completed.
We will work with you from day one to help design an event which will motivate your supporters to get active. We then manage the entire process from designing the reward, to handling the entries and sending out the rewards. This means you need minimal staff on your side to manage the events – you can sit back and let us do all the work on your behalf!
For your supporters.
Take part, get rewarded! We believe a virtual event should reward your supporters just like a traditional event, that means getting rewarded for their efforts when they have finished. Our favourite reward is a medal (because who doesn’t like getting a big shiny medal!), but it can be anything you choose, from t-shirts to certificates!
Our entry systems are individual to each event and capture the key details of each supporter who takes part. We have a simple upload process which allows entrants to add their evidence to their accounts allowing us to process the completed entries.
Our system is GDPR compliant and can provide metrics and key data to you so you can follow up with those supporters who wish to hear more from you.

Do we need to have an idea for an event?
No, you don’t need to have a clear idea. We can work with you to develop an event which will appeal to your supporters.
What is the maximum size of an event?
There is no maximum size! We can create large or small events depending upon the size of your supporter base.
How long does it take to create an event?
We can get an event open for entries within 6 – 8 weeks, but if you have a shorter timeline, please get in touch and we can discuss what is needed.
How much do medals cost?
That completely depends on the design, size and number ordered, but we can work with you to optimise the medal design to ensure cost effectiveness.
Do you work with organisations outside the UK?
Yes, we can work with organisations anywhere in the world, although the level of support we can offer will differ from a UK based charity. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss what is possible.
